Snowpocalypse

Unless you've fallen off the side of the planet, you'll know that we're getting hit with a huge storm tonight and tomorrow all across the mid west! Personally the thought of two feet of snow doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but all the talk about the weathers got everyone in a panic. I heard Meijers and Walmarts all across the state were packed today with people racing to stock up on goods in case of snowmergencies.

Only on rare occasions do most colleges close down for snow....especially ones where the majority of students live on campus, but all throughout the day school closings came flooding in. On local high school after another until colleges started to join in. I was shocked when Michigan State declared they'd stay closed tomorrow, along with Grand Valley, Central Michigan, and Ferris. Every college surrounding including KVCC and Kalamazoo College declared Wednesday a snow day. I kept checking Western's homepage and begging for a closing (and was close to giving up) until finally it happened!!!

NO CLASSES TOMORROW!!! A SNOW DAY IN COLLEGE! YAY!

I feel like a 5 year old again, giddy and ready to spend all day tomorrow relaxing in my pajamas :) Maybe I'll read a book, or watch some more Dexter. I'm just happy I don't have to study for the exam that was scheduled.

Even Hope College closed!

It really is a blizzard out there...when I was out for dinner, it was blowing everywhere and there must have been at least 2 inches of fresh snow just from two hours!
